Easter tree

It will be soon time to celebrate Easter and the Resurrection of Our Lord. It has always been our tradition as a family to have an Easter tree in the house which we keep for the whole Easter period. We decorate ours with little decorated eggs, bunnies etc and it is lit, so quite pretty - I shall attach a photograph. Have you given any thought to creating your own tree even if you are in isolation? It isn't difficult. 1. You could find a branch, twigs etc on your daily exercise or in your garden or maybe family could put one on your doorstep. 2. Place it in a vase, so it's safe, and if fresh with leaf with some water in it so that the leaves will continue to open. 3. Now to decorate. If you have some tiny eggs to decorate that is good but if not how about following the YouTube clip on making tiny pom poms out of wool. I had Becky making a few yesterday evening and they are not hard. All you need is a fork and some wool - they look very pretty.

4. You could make little coloured eggs out of card or paper and decorate them, tiny crosses out of pampas grass or coloured paper or material. You could also make tiny paper chains which you can decorate with Easter symbols of new life. 5. You can be creative in your spare minutes and put as little or as much as you want on your twigs/branch. 6. Finally if you have little battery twinkling white lights, as you might use at Christmas, pop them on as well. 7. Enjoy ....... from EASTER SUNDAY!

If you cannot make an Easter tree why not decorate some eggs, around new greenery, a simple cross and even a chick, rabbit or two and pop it in a window or on your door.
