"Suffolk Coast and Country" - Philip and Sheila Morris

"For the next three Fridays we return to Suffolk which we last visited in 2017 and some of the scenery in the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Natural Beauty. But first the town of Southwold, a rather gentile seaside town, but with a fascinating pier which has some quirky features. Colourful beach huts line the foreshore while the town itself has its lighthouse set among the houses! Southwold is the home of Adnams Brewery - we are rather partial to their Ghost ship beer (other beers are available) which luckily can be bought in Llantwit Major. Leaving Southwold we go to Dunwich Heath for views back to Southwold with its lighthouse glinting in the sun - though the view the other way is of the Sizewell power station."

This is a very relaxing video though I have some issues with sound. It is ok and then fades. I think it must be my elderly PC! Hope everyone else is ok?

You can tell immediately that you are in Suffolk here with its lovely buildings and use of colour. Didn't the sea look churned up and still quite a swell on it. What a different idea to mark how special a place is by placing a little plaque. Where would you place yours? What is your most cherished place and do you like that place as it is or would you want to place your mark upon it? I think perhaps I would like to leave mine, as it was and just remember all the memories of it, but we are all different and need to celebrate that..

Thank you Philip and Sheila for another lovely day out and so different from last week's. Thank you!
