It is lovely to allow Philip and Sheila to lead us on Fridays and to almost feel the bracing air and stunning views on some of their walks and rambles. It is refreshing physically mentally and spiritually and certainly does us all so much good.
Today we start on a new adventure with them and this time to pilgrimage on the Llyn Peninsula.
Mum spent a lot of time here in Morfa Nefyn as a child and teenager. She used to holiday with her Godparents and all their family - about 17 of them in total!
Monefion, the house they stayed in, was very basic. No fridge, and a food safe! But it was such a special place and made for idyllic holidays. They spent the days on the beach (or doing housework - she says!) and evenings were singing and walking many miles along the coast.
We look forward to joining Sheila and Philip again next week for part 2. Thank you both!
