I know that many of you will be delighted to journey with Philip and Sheila today, on our second part of our Scottish trip to Handa Island. With the Advent calendar and different feel of the blog just for Advent there is comfort in the familiar and as always we are grateful for Sheila and Philip's videos and our being transported into something amazing and quite different.
This poem I understand was inspired by the bird life and wildlife around poet Helen Mort as she discovered Handa Island.
I did enjoy Sheila and Philip's video today and know you will. I always feel as if I am with them, following along. It was fascinating. Thank you so much.
We've another exciting update to share from Diane, Ruth and Tyann who have been to visit Dyffryn Gardens this week and have happily reported back that the gardens are still full of colour - and we're in December! The gardeners are back and the beds and borders are looking much better, having been left to go a little wild in lockdown and earlier this year!
Here are just a few of the wonderful pictures Di managed to take:
These are beautiful, a real joy! Thank you again for sharing with us all!
