As we travel through Advent towards Christmas, this year things are so very different for us all. This blog too will be taking on a slightly different flavour and instead of the blog as you've known it these last eight months or so, we will be trying a new format to help start off your festivities. Don't worry, some of your favourites in the week will still be there!
For the next 24 days we will be celebrating the season and festivities together in this community advent calendar! Traditionally, or at least more normally, we would be be opening a door in our advent calendars at home, a new door every day, and seeing what surprise image lay behind that day's door.
This year, we will instead be looking 'through a window' to share and celebrate together with each day's window being decorated and shared by different members of our churches and communities. So many of you have taken the time to make, create, bake and decorate to be a part of this advent calendar, so thank you all!
