Bank Holiday at Kew Gardens

Well it doesn't seem that long ago we had the early Bank holidays but in true style we are off again today. We are going to visit Kew Gardens and enjoy the many opportunities it affords us. All this to see and not a single traffic jam in sight!

That was lovely wasn't it? Colour is wonderful and enriches all around us. I spend much of my life in black along with many clerics, but I do enjoy the use of colour, in our churches, in our worship and in our homes. I do love the colour, black, but it can be seen as boring and dull, the wonderful world of nature shows and teaches us so much. Which colours do you like together? This year I really love the purples and bright orange displays.

This was an eye opener too and I didn't know previously taht they dyed the water black. Did you? These are amazing and I love the textures and form. the reflections are stunning too!

There's so much to see and learn here at Kew. If you've enjoyed your tours with us - and you have a bit more spare time this bank holiday - why not check out a bit more of what Kew has to offer. There are more videos to watch, which cover a range of things, from learning about how they make honey from the Kew bees, to exploring the woodlands or watching some aerial footage from above the grounds! Take a closer look here:
